nissaMade tutorial on Sew, Mama, Sew!

I'm so excited to have written a post/tutorial for the fabulous Sew, Mama, Sew! blog.

The tutorial is for a small crossbody bag with full width pockets on each side.  Check it out..

And I apologize for using the same fabric for the last 3 projects posted!  It's all done now :)

  5. I've just made this little bag of yours, enlarged it slightly to fit my iPad. Looks great! I'm really pleased with it! There were one or two glitches with your tutorial which made the sewing of the bag a little difficult. One was that you need to say in the cutting out that you need the shaped exterior, lining and interfacings to all face the same way! Perhaps put this on the pattern pieces. And when sewing together sew over the zipper on the one side where the pull is, but on the side with the tail you tuck that right inside out of the way, and just sew over the fabric. Otherwise a really nice bag tute. Thanks. I hope you don't mind me pointing this out!
