Bag Blog Love

Once a week or so, I will share some Bag Blog Love by featuring a bag blog or website that I have found useful and/or inspiring.  I have learnt so much from resources on the interwebs, so just a small way of returning the favour.

I will list each site I highlight here for easy access.  Using the Blog Love label will take you to all the related posts for each featured blog.

  1. I am looking to make your small crossbody "J" purse...what is the amount of fabric you need for each section? I just want to make sure I don't underbuy or over buy fabric.
    Thanks

    1. Bev, I have no way of contacting you, so hoping you'll come back to read.. The biggest piece is for strap where you need a long narrow piece.. for my height 48" was enough but if you are tall you might need longer. so for fabric you'd need a least 1.25meters but you will have plenty of left over.. To save you could use it for the lining as well as the outer contrast piece. For the other pieces, you'd probably need just a 1/4 meter each. You can use the pattern pieces to make sure 2 fit on each fabric.
